Apeks unsealed regulators are designed for warm water diving as they lack an environmental dry seal system, however this does mean that the US4 is much more compact and lighter than the popular DS4 first stage. The little US4 from Apeks is therefore an excellent regulator for the traveling diver who still wants an extremely well performing first stage. Fitted with four 3/8" medium pressure ports and one 7/16" UNF high pressure port the US4 first stage provides convenient and neat hose routing options.
